My story
I started working at 13 in a food court, then spent the next decade in retail while completing a Diploma of Business and a degree in Human Resources and Management.
After graduating, I moved into hospitality with Delaware North as a Training and Development Coordinator, training new recruits and managing teams across the WACA Ground and Perth Airport.
Over the following 20 years I built my career in professional services as an HR Manager — including seven years running my own business — before returning to hospitality in a senior People & Culture role overseeing multiple hotel properties, including Mercure Perth, ibis Perth and Novotel Perth Langley, leading workforce strategy, culture, and people initiatives.
How I help
When I understand someone's goals, I bring clarity to what they truly want to achieve, then find practical ways to support it — introductions, references, recommending them for roles, refining their resume, and regular 1:1 mentoring using a S.M.A.R.T goals framework.
Why I mentor
Personally, I want to see someone else win. That makes me happy.
